Mandarin Class Exam

mandarin class exam jus finished. i didnt realy study that hard on it but during the exam, it was kinda scary. five us were told that there will be 3 subjects and it will be total up for the final percentage. the first was ting xia, spelling. spelling for 103 words. the most i hav ever did in my entire life.

i tot i did okey but eventually i got LOTS of minor wrong. ryan got first with 96/103. i was second wif 92. chi wai's mum got 3rd while ek wif 4th and chi wai last.

next exam was jotting down the meaning. we r started with 103 mandarin words in a piece of paper. we then have to translate it to tell the meaning. after that, another 25 words with combined mandarin words and we hav to tell the meaning. the exam was quite easy, as i scored with only 4 wrongs in total. i think i got the highest.

the next was the most challenging for me. it was reading and pronunciations. i always got a problem with pronouncing it. plus, it was a one on one in the office room. ryan was called first while the rest of us waited. it was like harry potter and the order of phoenix (in the book) where during the Oridnary Wizarding Level exam. harry potter and the rest were called one by one to the office. chi wai's mum was next, followed up by eng khim, me was third and chi wai is last.

after the whole thing, ig to the total of 10 wrong. giving me 93/103 points. ryan and chi wai's mum was first scoring only 4 wrongs. ek was second with 6 wrongs. i was third and chi wai again was last with 20 wrongs.

Tecaher Sam which we only call him sam totalled up but i didnt see all. i think ryan got first place, i was second, chi wai's mum as third, ek grabbed 4th with chi wai last but again, i am not sure. next week, we will proceed to level 2. here are the words we hav to learn in level 1. it will b long so u can skip the whole thing if u one. there are 03 all together.
